Small supplier compliance checklist for builders and commercial clients

Small suppliers are often pulled into compliance expectations without thinking of themselves as compliance-heavy businesses. But if you sell into construction, facilities, government or procurement-heavy environments, buyers often want the same confidence they expect from contractors.

That means a useful supplier checklist includes ABN and contact details, insurance certificates, product certifications where relevant, SDS or safety documents where relevant, and any buyer onboarding forms needed to register the business properly.

The point of the checklist is to make repeat requests easier. Most suppliers do not need enterprise procurement software. They just need a cleaner, more repeatable document workflow.
